Le Pellerin to ST Brevin les Pins - 37km

St Brevin-les-Pins to Pornic - 40km -

And back in 2012 ……..

Day Five – Glencoe to Stirling

Mileage 84 miles

Terrain Some big hills, but not too steep

Weather Sunny!

The Big Three Hundred

We set off at 730 this morning and got 90 mins in before having Breakfast at a hotel

on Rannock moor. The rest of our route took us through the mountains and out of

the highlands. There were some big hills and some great long downhill runs. We

hit our 80th mile of the day at the bottom of Sterling Castle hill. Unfortunately the

youth hostel was at the top!

We have now completed 303 miles and been riding for over 28 hours.

Chaffing update (sponsored by sudacreme)

"i went down, down, down

And the flames went higher,

And it burns, burns, burns,

The ring of fire!"

(there may also be bruising)

Editors note

Stirling is a beautiful city. A bit like Paignton, but with a castle.

The real reason we left early this morning was due to complaints from the hard of

hearing ramblers association, who were told of the snoring by the campsite next

door
