Lege cap ferret to Parentis en born - 94km

Very unlikely to go to plan due to wildfires and road closures. Could be interesting…..

Meanwhile back in the day ……

Day 12 - Ross on Wye to Burnham on Sea

Met a Greek Bloke in the Service Station

Many thanks to the Kitcheners for their hospitality last night. Some great food and fine company prepared us well for the 70 miles today. Apologies for Chucks rear wheel slide across your front lawn.

We were joined by Nick for a two day special guest appearance. He put in a fine debut and the extra wind buffer was used well.

It was a day for familiar faces all round. We met a fellow end to end cyclist in Scotland last week and bumped into him again today on the A38. It was reassuring to see someone as tired as we were.

We were also tracked down by Jackie and Hux, who had used the website tracker to pin point our position. It was good to see you and many thanks for the water top up.

Tip of the day

If your going to take a penalty, make sure you hit it hard enough to hit the back of the net!

Chaffing update (sponsored by sudacreme)

Windy through the valleys, bluster on the peaks, vital equipment in need of essential maintenance.

Aaron has banned the next joke for professional reasons.

Assassination list update

Following his rendition of "10 green bottles" and "heads and shoulders", Forbes has moved up a place.

Injury update

Aarons bad knee is now his good knee.

Forbes, sympathy pain has got confused.

Nick, damaged soul after his 72km debut.

Chuck, currently sober and has noticed a slight Chaffing of the right earlobe from his helmet strap.

Note to Kitch

Went up the English Bicknor hill. It's no Slaidburn!

Aaron had to undo his jacket zip by two inches

Rich's glasses steamed up.... slightly

Chuck was txting!
