Day 10 stats

Our expected 95km day turned out to be 111km. We think this is because our solar powered calculated was left in one of Aaron’s dry bags for too long!!!

Anyway, a constant changing scenery of coastline, forest, lighthouse, marshland and beach volleyball kept us entertained. Rich stripped off and was ready to play VB but was dragged back to his bike by the boys who pointed out there was still 60km left in the day (sad times).

Our quaint accommodation allowed some kitchen creativity with some pesto pasta (the Lys special) and roasted chicken thighs. We have cushions on the chairs which is such a joy after 10 days of ‘damage’

We do now have a problem though. Our planned route seems to be closed due to wildfires. So we don’t know what a accommodation to book. Could be some long days ahead 😔
