Friday 8th July: 1 mile to The Boathouse. Had to push the bike back as the return journey is uphill and I had a couple of pints.
Saturday 9th July: Walked the dog, so couldn’t go on the bike.
Sunday 10th July: Too hot, so sat in the garden and relived Glastonbury.
Monday 11th July: 0.5 miles to the Ship as I have learned my previous lesion at The Boathouse. Start with short distances and build up slowly. Possibly have just the one.
Tuesday 12th July: 2 miles to The Cantina. Note to self; consider using a support vehicle.
Wednesday 13th July: Rest Day: Recover from The Cantina trip.
Thursday 14th July: Start to build up carbs for the big day so 1.5 miles to The Shoreline for a Pizza. Now on a strict regime of cider as apparently apples are good for you. This information has yet to be verified, so will let you know in due course.
Friday 15th July: Get a lift to the ferry and off to Roscoff.
Saturday 16th July: Day 1: Roscoff to Saint- Aignan: 119km.
