Friday 8th July: 1 mile to The Boathouse.  Had to push the bike back as the return journey is uphill and I had a couple of pints.

Saturday 9th July: Walked the dog, so couldn’t go on the bike.

Sunday 10th July: Too hot, so sat in the garden and relived Glastonbury.

Monday 11th July: 0.5 miles to the Ship as I have learned my previous lesion at The Boathouse.  Start with short distances and build up slowly.  Possibly have just the one.

Tuesday 12th July: 2 miles to The Cantina.  Note to self; consider using a support vehicle.

Wednesday 13th July: Rest Day: Recover from The Cantina trip.

Thursday 14th July: Start to build up carbs for the big day so 1.5 miles to The Shoreline for a Pizza.  Now on a strict regime of cider as apparently apples are good for you.  This information has yet to be verified, so will let you know in due course.

Friday 15th July: Get a lift to the ferry and off to Roscoff.

Saturday 16th July: Day 1: Roscoff to Saint- Aignan: 119km.
